How My Forced Hospital Leave Benefited Me

For the last 2 weeks, I’ve been going about keeping myself busy with various stuff since I was on what I call a “forced hospital leave“. Anyway, I still see it as a blessing in disguise since I was able to accomplish several agendas during this leave.

First of all, I was able to attend seminars on Infection Control and ACLS. I am proud to say that I am an updated nurse and that I am constantly enhancing my knowledge through updates via seminars and trainings.

Another good thing about this 2-week worth of hospital leave is that I was able to work on my papers and update resume. I had no idea that my resume was so old and still I kept using it to apply to current job openings!

But the best thing is that I was able to work on my online job and earn enough to go to Cebu and visit Rio plus, I was also able to buy him tickets so he can visit me on my birthday.

I just hope that this forced leave goes on and that I will be able to find another job as a nurse that pays enough for my qualifications and skills. Preferably in Cebu where I get to be with Rio. :)
