Freelance-Slash-Nurse

Life is sweet and I’m having a sugar rush. I hate to admit it but I’m enjoying the life of a freelance writer-slash-nurse. Amazing events have happened these past few days and even though they may not all be positives, it is a given fact that when you take something sweet, you well eventually get cavities too.

You already know that I’ve been on a vacation spree ever since I was on a forced leave and I have nothing to complain at all. Jobs on oDesk have been constantly available and I was invited to many job interviews and in most of them, I got hired. This kept me busy for the past few weeks and also filled my pockets with hard-earned money. I enjoy working at home and getting paid for work that I can do at my own time and convenience. This was something that made me feel accomplished and proud.

Some horrible past came to haunt me too. You may not know about this story because I deleted my posts about this certain someone so I don’t have to deal with her malevolent plans. Yet she wants to find trouble and refuses to let go of the issue. She called me up and acted like she owned me saying I was disgusting because I won’t answer her calls. I don’t want any trouble anymore so I just left her to her anger. Let’s move on and forget about the demons, shall we?
Anyway, God knows what her plans are. I know that He knows that I did nothing wrong but present the truth. I just want to forget that I ever met her or dealt with her. It was one moment in my life that I wish never happened.

But life is still sweet. Despite her threats I got what she doesn’t want me to get – an interview with a prestigious hospital in UK. Drake International called me while ago, informing me that I was one of the candidates eligible for a position in a hospital who is currently hiring for ICU positions in UK. The interview dates will be on September 14,15 an 16 and I was requested to be there during these dates so I can be interviewed by the employers. God is good and if He has plans for me to continue my career as a nurse, I’m pretty sure He will get me this job.

Just a few more weeks to go before that date and I’m excited to see how it will all turn out. I’ve got plans of my own but I’m sure that He has plans for me too. All I can do right now is just pray that things will fall into place and that I will be ready when the time comes for me to leave.

Wish me luck in my freelance-slash-nurse career!

@ Randy: Thank you for your inspiring feedback on my posts. I hope there are more people like you who are interested in the minds of small people in the business of online freelancing.

@clemento: I’m not quite sure what you want me to write about. Can you please elaborate?

@Faucttyncnunk: I think you’re saying if I have been gone for a long time from the hospital? Yes, It’s been more than a month since I last had a real duty at the Hemodialysis Unit. But I’m glad that until now, my supervisor hasn’t called me up yet to go on duty. :)
