Hello Orie, sorry for the late reply. I recently became a buyer on oDesk to help providers who are just starting out. Obtaining your first job is quite difficult if you have no work experience that’s why I’m looking after newbies and hiring them, also teaching them how to work effectively on oDesk.
I just hope everything will turn out well for all of us who are depending on oDesk.

Faith, I just recently noticed that Wordpress sucks a bit.. They don’t support Adsense (my accounts ready but Wordpress just won’t let me - at least, without the upgrade) and they do not allow paid blogging services like Pay-per-Post (which I was planning to be a part of).. Bummer.

Maybe you should use blogger as your platform if you want adsense on your site. I really haven’t tried it myself but you should try and experiment different blogging platforms and see what suits your needs the most.

Hi Taneesha,
Nice of you to drop by!
Although I’m working as a nurse right now, I’m still working on oDesk during my free hours.
All you need to do is sign up on oDesk and fill out your profile. It’s just like making an online resume to sell your skills. After taking the easy exams on oDesk, you need to be patient until someone hires you. This will not happen if you just wait so it is advisable that you constantly apply to the opportunities and jobs posted in oDesk even if they are paying workers at a very low rate.
Feel free to post any further questions ‘ayt?
